Clear DayScanning my pc for viruses, the results shows ntoskrnl.exe has been
changed. I'm not having problems with my pc, but wonder why it shows it has
been changed. My scanning for viruses, worms, etc, shows that my computer is
clean.

Thank you..

Hi Helen

What is that program supposed to do - I haven't come across it before? If
your system is working properly, may I suggest that you don't alter
anything, unless Windows itself tells you that a specific file has been
altered?

So what is "Clear DayScanning"? Google doesn't find it.

Hi, Will. The "Clear Day" in the OP's message isn't part of the message.
It means s/he's using OE stationery which of course doesn't translate
into Usenet (thank g-d).

To the OP: if you've done the virus scan with a current version (not
earlier than 2003) full-featured installed antivirus using updated
definitions - and you've done that scan in Safe Mode - and everything
comes back clean, then as Will said - don't worry about it. But make
sure the av you used meets those requirements.
