recently i completely redid my whole computer. i fdisked the drive and reinstalled windows 2000 pro. well, in the middle of running, i'll get a blue screen that goes away too fast for me to read. when it reboots, i get one of the seemingly typical errors with my ntoskrnl.exe. however, when i let the computer sit for a while, it'll restart with no problem. then it will work for a while before going blue again and restarting the cycle. i'm wondering if anyone has any suggestions. i've also updated my bios, just in case there was a virus or something stuck in it. hope someone can steer me towards some help. thanks in advance

I always think heat when there is a problem that 'fixes'
itself after leaving it alone for a while. Could be that
you need a new fan on the processor. Most newer bios'
come with built in fan utilities, if you go to your bios
and look for that, it may tell you how fast it is running
and what the temp is of your pc. Worth a look.
good luck.
