now computer fully shuts down on its own

ok now theres a new problem. Now my computer likes to shut down before it even gets to the start up screen. I sort of expect its my power supply but how can that be. the computer is only a year old. I dont know wut it is but is there perhaps a virus that can do this to a computer. Im sure there is but if so can someone tell me and wut i should do. Ive been planning on getting a new motherboard, but not this soon. if someone can help me i will extremely grateful. thnx

Have you checked the cooling fan on your power supply? It maybe full of dust. It could be a virus too. Try to start it in safe mode and run a virus check.
