none of my keyboard shortcuts work

I am unable to use my keyboard short cuts eg.. Alt+print screen or "my
documents" or any of the button which are stuuated at the top of my keyboard
including the F1.2.3. etc ... I think I may have switched off the option for
these when I first started using a PC now I do't know how to get them back.
Please help

Seems to be a driver related problem.Uninstall/reinstall;update the
keyboard driver.
