Non preset mode

Hi,
When first turning on the computer a message saying the computer is in
"nonpreset mode" appears and you have to press "Enter" to start the loading.
Can you please tell me why this is and how can I get rid of it and load
automatically please?

Some monitors (eg. BenQ) generate that message if the current screen
resolution does not match the display's specifications. Check with the
manual or with the manufacturer's tech support.

To Patricia - has it always done this ? - if not , have you installed a
program that uses a different resolution ?
