Non Authorized Users

I occasionally am receiving a message when logging off
that says:

"Other Individuals are currently logged on to this
computer. Logging off now could cause them to lose
data....Do you wish to continue?"

This computer is a home pc running Window's XP Home
Edition...There are no other users in the house that are
logged on....

Computer was purchased used...Have run Norton Works
numbers of times..

Message comes up from "Windows"....

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated...email

That is normal.
Do you have multiple profiles on the computer?
You will get that message if one profile starts the shut down/restart
process while another profile is still logged in.

Have you used the Switch User capability ?
Do you know that the password was changed on
every account that still exists that was on the machine
when it was purchased ?
To get the full list of accounts, start / run cmd and enter
net user
(some of the accounts listed are for the system and should
be there)
