No signature option on insert line

When I type an e-mail I don't have the "signature" option on the Insert Menu.
How do I get it there?

You need to set up signatures or you won't see it in the menu. Tools,
options, format, signatures. You must be using Outlook as your email editor,
not Word.

Sounds like you are using Word as the email editor. There is a signature
button on the Toolbar.
