Brand new computer, XP Home, older HP Deskjet 870cse
printer. The control panel says it recognizes the
printer, but documents simply won't print. The printer
will cycle through the reset when power is disconnected,
but the lights continue to flash, and an error message
comes up in the queue.
I've pulled and reconnected the cable, nothing. The only
thing that happens is, the CPU usage icon on the workbar
lights up like a Christmas tree, and then nothing
happens. It is a Compaq with a Celeron CPU.
I believe it's been hit with a virus. Sound like anything
you may have seen before?
