Are you asking how to share files and printers between the two
computers?

If so, run the Network Setup Wizard on both of them and tell it that
the computers connect to the Internet through a residential gateway
(router). It will make all the right settings. The computers will
connect to each other using TCP/IP on the same connection that they
use for the Internet.
