No audio output devices

New computer,trying to connect up old speakers,getting no
where,did a check on speech,message came up,saying no
audio output devices,what do i do now?

I really think this would be common sense! Your speakers don't work on their
own, do they?! What do yo plug your speakers into?

OK this is going to be too subtle for you - you're never going to make the
connection. Install the driver for your soundcard.
