No Audio In Flash Player

I have followed all the tips, tricks, instructions, and
advice offered at bith Macromedia and MSN - to no avail --
I have NO AUDIO in my Flash Player. My system is a up-to-
date as Windows Update and Bigfix can make it. I have
uninstalled and deleted all former versions of both Flash
Player and Shockwave. I downloaed (again) both players
this morning. Macromedia test says they are installed and
working OK. No matter what website I go to, there is
never any Audio with the flash download. Can anyone help?

Hi,

Click on tools | Internet Options in internet explorer.
click on the advanced tab.
check the following boxes
play sound in web pages
play video in web pages
play animations in web pages.
