Just tried installing NIS 2004 on an XP Pro OS. The installation seemed OK but when I try to run NIS it refuses to run. This appears to be due to the configuration wizard not loading. Had the same problem with Systemworks 2003 when I tried to reinstall it and thought it might have been a corrupted file on the disk. Have spent many hours rooting around Symantec support with no success in solving this problem. Anyone experienced similar problems.

Lots of people. Return it and ask for your money back. Symantec support has
been less than helpful on all these problems.

Dump Norton. They really do suck. I finally took the plunge after their
latest fiasco, eventhough my subscription had yet to expire.
