new windows open as a small title bar only

after visiting some web site, all my new windows, if I
click on a link, open as a 2 inch title bar. I have to
click maximize on this this title bar to view the page.
Is there a way to reset the default new page size.

Hello,

With only one window of IE open, drag the borders of that window to fit
nearly the whole screen. Do not use the maximize button! Close that window
and start IE again.
