The dial-up modem and PPPoE options in New Connection
Wizard are unavailable after re-loading Windows XP Home
Edition. I went to MS Knowledge Base and followed all
the instruction, including another re-load of Windows and
still no help. Plus, the HKEY-
CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\MICROSOFT\WINDOWS\CURRENT
VERSION\TELEPHONY file is no longer in the registry
(which I was told to remove in one of the Knowledge Base
fix steps).
Anybody know how to solve this? I can't connect to the
internet until I solve this.
