All,

Does anyone know of a resolution for Netmeeting causing a
blue screen on XP? Sometimes it just freezes the system
and you have to then reboot the system. Is there an issue
with XP or does Netmeeting just not support newer high
resolutions? I have searched the Knowledge base and have
tried all the suggestion with no resolution.

Help!!!

Thanks

I suspect there are corrupted files or a device driver related to
NetMeeting that's flawed. Maybe do a system restore from when it was
working, or an XP repair? Look in the event log to see if any tracks are
left of flaws.

NetMeeting has been around a long time. It's unlikely to be the root
cause.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

What is the best way to do a system restore. The only
issue is that this is a new system and it has never
worked. Is there a way to just re-install Netmeeting?

Thanks,

If it's a new system and never worked ... refer back to vendor/supplier
for assistance. maybe simply ask for another machine.

System restore is is fully described in "help". If new and never worked,
you may not have restore points.

That's why I told you to do a XP repair. This discussed in "help".
NetMeeting part of the system.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

If your using a web cam with netmeeting then it is more likely that you have
a driver problem with the cam or a hardware issue. Make sure all drivers for
web cam and video card are updated.
