.netframework+SP2

Hello Group ,
I installed SP2 on some machines today. The downloads went really well
and all updates were installed. Only now, I am told that they want to add
..netframework to some of them. My question is: Do any of you see the harm
in installing .net and the update over SP2 ? Or would it prevent problems
down the road to uninstall Sp first. I would rather spend a little time now
than a lot of time later but only if it is nessary.
Thanks 2 all,

The .net framework 1.1 works well on Windows XP+SP2. It is strongly
recomended that you install it.

If you do not , your system won't be able to run programs developed on the
..net platform.

Hello Yao ,
I think you missunderstand me. Let me put it this way: If you were
installing .net framework plus the updates for it. Would you install over SP2
or remove SP first? Thank you for the respond.

Hi

There is no point in removing SP2 to install the .Net framework,
they have nothing to do with each other.
