If your spending that sort of money you would get better value from a 5770.

However for a few pounds more a 5850 would be a good buy especially as you could crossfire at a later date.

READ THE REVIEW ;)

:D

A few pounds more? The cards the guy has linked to are around £130.00 whereas the average price of a decently specced 5850 is £250.00.

Where the math?

On the subject of the 5850 & 5870 I personally think this is the first series of ATI cards for some time that warrants serious attention, they look good.

And what with Nvidia constantly re-making and re-badging their series I think, maybe, the tables may at last turn.

And I say that as somebody who has favoured Nvidia for the last seven years.

meh im gonna get http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/product/seo/859759 that coz pc world is around 15 mins from my house by foot so i dont have to wait for delivery as long as it is better than my nvidia 9600 gt i dont care :)

Anything over 40fps on gta 4 and over 60 on cod mw 2 is good enough for me :)

i would get a nvidia from there but its around £150 and i got some other things to pay out atm thanks for all your advice guys it was apreciated :)

If you mean would we lock your threads then it's forum policy not to lock threads unless it starts to get trolled, which is unlikely in your case.

Glad your machine is up and running well, good stuff :thumb:

I do believe this thread has reached the end of it's useful life.

The guy has a good machine working.

It's over.
