My Documents Desktop Icon Problem

When I click on the My Documents icon on my desktop, it
gives me an error message saying:

The My Documents folder could not be found. Right-click
the My Documents icon, click Properties, and then check
that the path to your target folder location is correct.

If I right-click on the icon, there is nothing in the
Target box and it is gray so I cannot update it.

What is your profile you use to login? Say it is Bill. Then go look in C:\Documents and Settings\Bill\My Documents. Is it there? Right-click and send to desktop (create shortcut) if need be.
