my d drive just decided not to open for me it was working yesterday but now
if i do it manualy or through my computer it still wont open, if i open it
through my computer it will stop responding. neither wroks and i no its not
that the elastic thingy that opens the door is snaped becuse the motor dosnt
start please help me.

If the motor doesn't even start, one of two things is wrong:

1) the power connector from the power supply to the drive is loose - that's very unlikely unless you've been doing work on the drive; and
2) the drive is broken, inwhich case it's time for a new one.

Next time you post, better to refer to it as your CD or DVD drive, whichever it is. Calling it your "d drive" doesn't mean much - my D drive is on a hard disk.

Doesn't matter if it is new or not--if the motor isn't spinning up either
the power is unplugged or the drive is dead.
The good news is that it should be covered under your warranty.
