You should try elimating some of your programs from
launching at start up.
The first place to look is in your STARTUP folder in your
start/all programs. Get rid what is running there.
Second, click START then Click RUN and enter msconfig .
Find the start up tab and uncheck EVERYTHING. Restart
and see if that is faster. If it is REMEMBER to go back
to msconfig and check your antivirus program. And then
slowly add other programs. You will probably have to
restart a hundred times but you will soon find the
problem.
What I think is the problem is that there are a couple of
programs that are launching at the same time and are
causing your delays. You need to stop this and this will.
