Multiple folders in Documents & Settings

[XP Issue]

When Windows lost my settings/docs/favorites, etc. I re-
entered them. I now have 2 document folders in my
Documents & Settings Folder- one with my name and one
with my name & the computer name. I'm afraid to delete
either of them b/c I do not know which one the computer
is using. Is it okay to leave both? Everything works ok
now.

The one with your name and the computer name is likely the newest one. You
should be able to tell by the "created" date.

Use something like notepad to save a new file,
and then look to see which it was stored within.

Or enter %userprofile% in the Windows Explorer address bar to see which
folder is your current user profile. Likely the one with the computer
name appended, since the original install doesn't do that.
