Hi,
I reinstalled XP and I have no sound. I went to my device manager and found out that the drivers for my Multimedia Audio Controller need to be reinstalled, but It doesn't give me the name or version of the Audio Controller to find the drivers. Is there a way to get the name and version of that? Also, When I'm running a program for my online course, It suddenly just reboots itself and I lose all of my work. I installed a new modem and get the mini dmp and sysdata.xml error. They told me to delete the minidump folder in windows and the sysdata.xml file. It still reboots itself, but i don't get that error anymore. I have tried everything but still come up short.

Hi - If you don't know what sound card you have and don't want to open
up the machine to find out, download and install Aida32. Aida32 is a
free program that will inventory all the hardware on your system and
give you lots of information, including the make/model of your sound
card. Then you go to that mftr.'s website and download drivers. Here's
a link for Aida32: www.aida32.hu . After you've done that, if you
still need help getting the drivers, post back with the make/model of
the card and we'll take it from there.

Cheers,

Malke
