Much time to open winword XP

Whenever I try to open a Winword documents (office xp) it takes much time to
be open, say 2 minutes.
This happen to me only with Winword, other applications work fine.

any suggestions?

You might do a repair install...from the WORD CD. That will restore
missing files, and replace damaged ones.

This is a WINDOWS group, dear. Word is not, never has been and never will
be part of Windows. Please repost in the correct place.
