I cannot get my Concord EyeQ Go 2000 camera to work in MSN Messenger. When setting up the camera in Messenger under Audio/Video Tuning Wizard, the camera shows up in the drop down list, I choose the camera and click Next and I get the message of "Camera Error". After clicking next a few more times and clicking finish, I connect with a user and all I get to see is a black window area where my video feed should be I AM able to see the other user..

I am running Messenger 6.1 on a WinXP Pro box with 128 Ram, 700 proc.

So you know, I CAN SEE the video in Netmeeting, Microsoft Movie Maker and in the two apps that come with the camera. Just not in Mesenger.

BTW: I am running Messenger 6.1 and have downloaded the latest drivers from concord-camera.com. I also contacted the manufacturer phone support and they had me run through a bunch of things. Their position is (and I agree with it) is that if the camera works in the two products they ship with the camera and also works in MS Netmeeting and MS Movie Maker, then the problem has got to be in Messenger.

PS: I have noticed numerous posts within and outside of Microsoft Forums that have various cameras manufacturers having the same problem with Messenger. I have not seen one suggestion anywhere that fixes the problem for anybody else. I am hoping that a Microsoft person will pick up on this thread and do searches on this problem and get someone to finally fix it not just me but for everyone else who is having this problem.
