MS updates don't come in.

When I click Windows updates< I receive a window that is inactive with the
following address:
http://v5.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/v5consumer/default.aspx?ln=en-us I
have automatic updates turned on but nothing happens. My Windows XP home
recently went through a repair mode and I lost my hotfixes. Can anyone advise
me?
