I down loaded some video files and I don't understand much about them.
I am trying to use windows Media player to watch them but it doesn't play them.

I find that some of my files have different extension names.

I was wondering if someone here could direct me to some source on the web..
where I can learn about video file extensions.

or just some general information in the video line....

I have one movie I downloaded. I have downloaded different versions of it.

I have some with the extension of:

screener or .scr

telesynch

..ts

divx cam

teg_vcd screener

so if someone could direct me to where I might go.. in a newsgroup or a web
sight to learn what these mean. Or how I might can get them to play in my
Windows Media player or divx player... I would be appreciate it...

I am sorry if this is posted in the wrong newsgroup... but I can not find one
where it seems right to do so..
