I had a Trojan in a file called"C\Windows\isrvs\sysupd.dll " I got rid of the
virus using Norton System Works, but it seems to have deleted the whole file
and now I get an " Invalid Activex /com

Win Doctor cannot repair. Has any kind person any clues.

Dump Windoctor & NSW; go back in System/Restore to see if you can recover
the lost files.
Clean all references to Norton out of your Registry (You'll probably have to
shut it down completely in Device Managerfirst, or do it in Safe Mode)
Get a decent (uncomplicated) AV program - start off with running that.
Install Spybot Search and Destroy, also Adaware while you're at it (update
both of those before running).

While NSW is a resource hog some people get along well with it. Brewers -
try running One Button Checkup (SystemWorks). It usually gets rid of any
invalid Active X stuff.
