Thank you for your reply. The problem is that in system the system restore tab
is gone. When I try other ways to turn the feature off I get this message: The
Procedure Entry Point RemoteAssistancePrepareSystemRestore could not be located
in the dynamic link library Winsta.dll. I realize System Restore does not get
rid of Trojans but by not being able to turn System Restore off and then
rebooting, the trojans keep coming back after the virus program removes them
becuase they are still in the restore directory. I've seen several mentions of a
fix command in windows xp but I'm not sure where to find it, thats what I was
talking about. Thank you for your assistance.
