Missing Inbox?

Out look will not load on my account. (It will load on other accounts on this
computer)

The splash screen comes up then the normal screen then it locks up.

It is acting like it is looking the the "Inbox" and cannot find it.

I have run the scanpst.exe It finds no errors, so my data is still good.

I don't know what else to check.

Got any ideas??

Thanks

Does Outlook start in safe mode?

start > run > outlook.exe /safe > ok button

That is a 'Negative'

It will not start this way or if I boot into the safe mode and try and run it.

You didn't mention what version of Outlook, but might try starting Outlook
with the /cleanpst command line switch. This will start Outlook with a new
PST file and shouldn't delete the old one*.

if that doesn't work, go to the mail applet and create a new mail profile.
don't copy the existing one, create a new one to see if outlook starts. if
it does, it means something is funky with registry dealing with the old
profile.

* meaning you should be able to open via file > open > outlook data file

OK. Using the /cleanpst got it to open up and run.

The only thing now is how do I get all my contacts and Sent and received
emails and stuff back??

Thanks

You can either import the data in from the OLD pst file (File > Import and
Export) or open the OLD pst file (File > Open > Outlook Data File) and copy
the items over.
