Meeting invitations not going through

Using Outlook 2003, When I send a meeting invitation, the
recepients only receive a text message with the meeting
detail. On the other hand I am receiving and replying to
invitations just fine, is there some setting wrong in my
Outlook?
 
Does this happen to all users that you send to, internal and external to
your organisation, do you have the reminder field checked in the meeting
request if so see if unchecking it helps
