SCREEN WHILE HE WAS VIEWING DID HE TRACK MY SITES I HAVE VIEWED?

What does this have to do with Microsoft Access, the database application?
This newsgroup is for questions about creating databases in Microsoft
Access. If you repost to an appropriate newsgroup, I'd suggest turning off
your caps lock key and typing properly. It is much easier to read.

In an attempt to answer your question...

If he was viewing things that you have recently viewed, I'd guess he looked
at your "My Recent Documents" link in the Start menu, or looked at your
Internet Explorer history, or opened your picture viewing software and
looked at the recent file list in the File menu. Or maybe he just went to
your "My Pictures" folder. Or he did a search for all pictures on your hard
drive. Lots of possibilities.

Your post does not really make it clear why you are asking. Did you think
that someone using your computer would not be able to view files on your
computer? Did you think that your Internet history was not stored?

With a name like "media Hacker" ??? There is a saying in England - what goes
around comes around.

Just a thought - close all programmes then press Shift/Control/Alt/T

If you are prompted for a password - bit of a problem, but no worries send
me a very large cake and I will tell you how to get rid of it. Top tip "do
not" restore your machine - that's the only free tip. LoL

And

Back to Rick's comment - he is right - this is an access forum so you would
be better scanning your machine then cleaning it if you find a problem.
Access can't do this for you.

Wayne,

Just curious. What does Shift/Control/Alt/T do? You have me afraid to try
it, at least on my computer ;>)

Hi George

In answer the the original post Rick gave the almost certain corect answer.

But my answer was - just in case ???

The most common key logger going around at the moment is E Blaster and the
default open is Control Alt Shift T - of course you can change this but
most people don't - as they don't know how.

Try it - if nothing happens you're ok (unless that changed the open) if you
are prompted for a password you have a nasty little thing on your machine.

Oh and I said not to restore (this is what most people would use - restore
to a previous date etc etc) BUT e blaster rests "in" the restore folder. Ha
Ha Ha which is, if you think about it, quite clever.
