I'd like to make a score sheet with a different look. Can tables or spread
sheets be made with rounded corners? If so, please describe how to do it.
Thanks in advance.

if you mean the cells on a worksheet, you might be able to put drawing
objects around the edge of the cells of the table to give it that
appearance. Make the drawing toolbar visible (View=>Toolbars), then look at
the various shapes available including freeform.

Thanks Tom,
The score sheet is completely squared off. You know with
all square or rectangular cells. Just to give it a smoother look maybe
having the outside perimeter consist of rounded corners might do it.
Can I do that?

You can use a any shape from the drawing toolbar (more shapes)>NO fill and
put over your table.

Tom,
I found that autoshapes and selected a shape with rounded corners.
When I expanded it to fit my score sheet, the perimeter was what I wanted
but the inside was white. Can I make that shape I make the shape
transparent, so my boxes and headings show?

Right-click on the shape and "Format autoshape".

On the "Colors and Lines" tab you will find a Transparency box with a slider.

Set to 100%.
