making slave in xp bootable for 98 and then swap

How, in xp, do you make a primary drive bootable for Win
98. I bought a new hard drive, installed it as slave, and
partioned it with two primary partitions with the intent
of making it master and creating a dual boot system with
Windows 98 and Windows XP. I understand that 98 needs to
be intalled first, so I have the first slave drive, drive
F:, FAT32 formated. I have the second slave drive, drive
G:, NTFS formated. In additon, I have an extended partion
with several logical drives. So, without having to spend
more money on other software, how do I make the slave
bootable and swap out the old physical drive with the new?
