I've seen many answers on this board abt server problems
but none seem to fit this problem and I'm wary having
trying to fix something similar only to "break" something
else. So here goes:

Events: recently downloaded and using, Ad-aware, Spybot
and Spyblaster. After use suddenly IE 6 is popping up
msg "mainAutomation server cant create object" each time I
get a new window. I can click okay and then page
downloads perfectly. Not a big deal but very annoying and
obviously a problem. Any ideas as to a fix? Should I
redownload IE 6? Maybe it's just a file missing? Would
getting rid of the spyware programs help?

Thanks for the reply...only one thing...I'm running XP
will this still work for me?

I don't really know, but it can't hurt to try.
Go to Start | Run and type
msconfig
and press <Enter>. Click Expand File.
File to Restore: WSHOM.OCX
Restore from: Browse from and go to the i386 folder on the CD or under
Windows, depending on your PC's manufacturer.
Save file in: C:\Windows\System32 (or whatever drive WinXP is on.

Had the same problem. Turns out it was browser OVERLOAD! Cleaned out cookies and objects in IE - the ones left by Java, Macromedia, Activex, and others. Problem went away RIGHT NOW! I think I'll let the third parties cool off a little while!
