For some reason my XP SP1 PC quite often changes various values in the
controlset registry key including the number held in the lsapid value. This
happens shortly after the PC has booted up. I use my MJ Registry Watcher
program ( http://www.jacobsm.com/index.htm#sft ) to see what Windows is doing.
Why does it do this? Why, having done this a few times, does my PC start to
slow down a lot?
