Logon Screen

On my logon screen, under my username, it says I have 1 unread email. I have
checked all my email accounts, inluding hotmail, and I have not email
waiting. Can I reset it? I do I fix this?
 
My guess is you're using MS Messenger, it'll automatically check your hotmail
account using the .net login.

Simply access hotmail through messenger again and allow messenger to become
'aware' ythat you don't have emails pending at that will solve your problem...
