Why not try deleting the user accounts and re-establishing them?

How long are you talking about????
And what do you have loading in windows startup? That can cause slow loading...but this is common on XP.....if u mean slow as in say 20 seconds this is normal..if u mean slow as in 45 seconds then yes thats slow.
