LCD projector

I.m trying to hook up a LCD projector to my laptop and
have it display the same on each, but I can only get it
to display on the LCD with nothing on the laptop or I get
the laptop to display and the LCD will display an extended
display from the laptop. I need this for presentations.

two options.

1. Contact your laptop's manufacturer for instructions on how to use the
different video settings (typically function + an F key to switch between
monitors, but they may have an app that does it)

2. If you are using powerpoint, just set it up to show the presentation on
the second monitor (projector). You can even use the presenter view on your
laptop to make it all very easy to run.
