Check the LCD's manual - look to find its native resolution. Set that in
your display properties.
Check on KDS website for any drivers, follow their installation
instructions.
Can you test you LCD on the friend's computer to rule out bad hardware?

Thank you for you rhelp.

I recently purchased an LCD Flat Panel Monitor to replace a Sony
Trinitron Monitor. I hooked it up and XP did not say that it had
found anything new ...and the picture quality is awful..Type looks
like a printer that is running out of ink...Not sharp and clear like
was on the Sony. I cannot find anything anywhere about drivers for
the LCD. WHen I try to open Windows for drivers it will not let me.
Brand of monitor is a KDS USA, made exclusively for Walmart I think.
Is is possible that I have a bad monitor? A friend of mine bought
the same kind and hooked it up and Windows Me said it had found new
hardware and set it up and the picture quality is awesome. Help if
you can would be appreciated. ]
