When several friends told me their return messages to me
had been bouncing back to them, I discovered I'd mis-
typed my e-mail address when setting up a new identity on
Outlook Express.

I established a new identity -- with the correct address -
- then deleted the old, incorrect one.

Apparently when I deleted the old identity I also deleted
the 250+ unread messages in that old identity.

Can I recover these messages somehow?

I've searched for files with .pst and .dbx extensions,
but didn't turn them up ...

Any help would be appreciated!

Outlook Express does not use .pst files, Outlook does.

You might want to repost this in a group that supports Outlook Express from
Internet Explorer, a part of Window. This group supports Microsoft Outlook,
part of Microsoft Office suite of business productivity programs.
