Language Issues?HELP!

Hello-

I have a customer using "Hotmail" for communication with
her friends and family in Japan. They were on Windows 98
before, and now on XP. They can visit the hotmail web
site no problem, except there is a request for the CD to
be inserted and demands a file called "vga935.fo_" and
comes up with an error.

What should be done to fix this problem?!

Hi PABear-

Thank you, do you know why when we visit Hotmail with
this language issue, that it asks for us to pop in the
Windows XP CD and then runs into an error with the
VGA935.fo_ file being damaged or something of the sort?

Does this have anything to do with the language issue as
well? I've never seen this type of error, and wondering
is there something here you suggest?

Post the complete error message.

Is this happening on the English-language Hotmail homepage or inbox or only
when opening Hotmail messages composed in Japanese?

What kind of CD do you have? If it's a retail XP CD or certain OEM
retail CDs, there should be no trouble installing the additional fonts
for language support. However, if you have a recovery CD, the
additional language support files and fonts may not be available.

Also, when you visit the Hotmail site try this: Right click on the
page, select encoding, more, Japanese. There's three choices for
Japanese, try each one.
