KB 842773 setup error

after upgrading to windows xp home edition I cant do
windows updates, the only update it tries and fails to
install is...BACK INTELLIGENCE TRANSFER SERVER(BITS)2.0
and WIN HTTP 5.1 this is apparently needed to do normal
updates??
searching the knowledge base for KB842773 gives me a
download for this which i tried again only to get an ERROR
WITH SETUP can anyone advise me please
 
Look at the address line for the WU page. If it says V4...... alter this
to V5 and reenter and this should then work.
 
thankyou Peter for replying, unfortunately I already have
V5 in the address line and still having a failure when
attempting to download the Background Intelligence
Transfer Service and cant download WU without this..the
Knowledge base doesnt give any help for the set up not
working properly either, i need help
