Jpegs from websites can only be saved as bitmaps, why???

For some reason when I now try to save a jpeg from any site (and I know they
are jpegs) the only option is to save them as bitmaps, why has this happened
it never used to be like that?

Hi

Try clearing out the Temporary Internet Files folder. Open Internet
Explorer and go to Tools>Internet Options - then click on 'Delete Files...'.

in the same option area, reduce the max size permitted for the cache, to
about 50 meg. That's plenty for most users. when the cache is "too
large" IE gets confused and doesn't manage it too well.
