joining a domain

Can I join a Windows XP Home edition computer to a server
based Windows NT domain? If so, what are the basic steps?
I've set up many XP pro computers on domains,but I'm
missing something about how to do it with XP home. Thanks.
 
Home is not designed to join a domain. Professional has this ability. You
can still use the domain resources, you just need to supply credentials.
 
Credentials meaning Domain\ Username Password.

you have to have a valid account on the domain to access resources.
