I know of some errors at startup that deal with
lsass but not isass
If lsass is giving you a message to effect that it
cannot initialize due to incorrect password, the
only solution I have ever seen is a fresh install.

Does anybody know about the error when windows xp starts
up w/isass.exe
.
I am having the same problem and nothing sems to get
around it. Tried to reinstall Win XP can not some files
will not copy.
tried the auto recovery do not have disks
one other option asks for an admion password. I never set
one up so I can not get in.
it looks like I will have to remove the hard drive from
the machine and install XP on a new drive and then put
this one back in and extract the files that I NEED from
this one and throw it away.

I just wonder if start up will find the corrupted
isass.exe file which is detecting the security breach and
do the same thing.

Boy do I miss DOS When windows crashed you could at least
go in and work with files.
