Is there format brush in Excel as in "MS Word"?

It's convenience to use the brush in WORD, but EXCEL couldn't provide that.

Any idea?

Much appreciated.

Hi

yes, it exists in all of MS desktop programs - if you can't see it on the
standard toolbar it's possibly because your standard and formatting toolbars
are on one line - to change this choose tools / customise / options - and
tick or untick (depending on your version) the checkbox to do with the
standard & formatting toolbars on one line - you want them on two - or at
the end of the standard toolbar should be double black drop down arrows, if
you click on these you should find the paintbrush there. - if that fails,
check out view / toolbars / customise ... and the commands tab - it's called
the "format painter".

hope this helps

Yes - look under: tools, customise, commands, format, then drag onto your
toolbar.

You already have your answer from the other posts, but one thing that many
don't realise is that if you double click the icon the painter stays active
till you hit the ESC key - Just a tip I find useful :-)

Or if you go back and click on the format painter icon another time (if you're a
mouser(?)).
