Hit F8 during bootup, select Safe Mode, Open System Restore and select a previous restore point
If that does not work, boot from the Windows XP cd, and run the repair process.

hello, I am getting the same error. I do not have a clue of what to do
next. I have tried booting from the boot disk and the windows cd and
still have not been able to get anything to work. As soon as the
system starts up it goes to the screen where it asks you if you want
to start up in safe mode or last known configuration. Any one of
those options will freeze the system. It starts trying to load up the
different file names and always freezes up on one particular file name
called, ipvnmon.sys.

PLEASE HELP!!! I DO NOT KNOW WHAT TO DO NEXT

I am having the same problem. I have tried to replace the memory,
renamed the ipvnmon.sys file, but it still didn't help. :-(

My problem is even worse that this dead blue screen appears every time
upon booting up immediately. I had to boot up to the MSwindows XP CD
and when to the recovery mode to rename the ipvnmon.sys file, but it
still didn't fix the problem. What can I do next? please help!
