Hello. . . .

Can someone help me out?? Suddenly from one day to the
other, all pictures that I open vie Internet employer, ie
all pictures downloaded from the internet, are suddenly
untitled BMP files. Until yesterday a file would have
it's original name and file format ie JPG or GIF. Now
everything , no matter from what or where it is downloaded
is an "Untitled BMP file" What happened, and how can I
fix this ?

Thanks,

Al Williams

You mean any file you download now? It didn't change the ones you
already have? If that's the case just delete the temporary internet
files and ofline content but going to Tools | Internet Options | Delete
Files. Also change he amount of space allocated to the cache using the
Settings option in that same window. A maximum of 50 MB is a good number.

I like Netscape better...........
My advice is, get rid of Internet Explorer, and get Mozilla Firefox.

The problem is, I'm biased against Internet Explorer, so it would be best to
contact someone else.

This happens if the indexes of the Temporary Internet Files get
overloaded. In Control Panel - Internet Options, in the temporary
Internet files section on the General page, click 'Delete files'. Then
I suggest click Settings and reduce the space allowed - 50 MB is
probably generous, and on big drives it tends to choose by default a
setting that is so high that this overload happens
