Internet Explorer loading slowing

Recently my Internet Explorer has been loading websites
incredibly slow. I can't figure out why this is
happening. Is it a virus or what?

apart from being an unstable security nightmare (just like windows) IE
is crap. switch to mozilla <http://mozilla.org>. or better still, get
rid of windows, install linux then mozilla, and your computer problems
will be over. apple <http://apple.com> is also an excellent alternative
to a windows pc.
