Isn't there some simple procedure for erasing a hijack of the IE start
up page? I've searched on how to clean this stuff and they want me to
download programs to rid the hijackers. They need to identify each
hijack individually. Isn't there some place in the registry that tells
IE to execute so-and-so file on startup? How else would the hijack
work? If it's constantly executing, then it's a resident virus and I
should have picked it up normally with my anti-virus.
